Steve-O will be spending some time behind bars, but he has no regrets for what he did.

The Jackass star posted on Instagram that he has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for a stunt he pulled in August to raise awareness for the treatment of animals at SeaWorld. OnAug. 9 he climbed to the top of a crane in Hollywood, carrying an inflatable whale and a sign protesting the theme park, and shot off fireworks.

The stuntman posted the lengthy message, saying that he's "ready to go to jail - not just because it will bring so much attention to the plight of orcas in captivity, but because it's nice to let people know I haven't lost my edge...I mean, if your goal is to make a statement about captivity, you may as well get yourself locked up," he said, further highlighting his reformation by adding that he has also launched a campaign to raise funds for at-risk, inner city kids in Los Angeles.
